Give Voice to Your Potential

Valuable Skills for Work and Life

Whether you're speaking to a board of directors, customers, co-workers or kids, Toastmasters can help you think, listen and speak more effectively.

Our club has a great time while we help each other to overcome fear of public speaking, strengthen speaking skills, "think on our feet," build self-confidence, conduct effective meetings, build leadership skills, and more.

When and Where We Meet

We now meet at the Leonard Recreation Center at 6324 Ballinger Road in Greensboro.  The City of Greensboro has closed Ballinger Road between New Garden Road and Chimney Rock for a bridge replacement project. The road is expected
to be closed to thru traffic until 2013.  Local traffic will still be able to access the area.

A detour takes drivers along Fleming Road to
Old Oak Ridge Road to Chimney Rock Road.  Signs are posted.  If you come from Guilford College area down Ballinger Road, you
will want to take a different route to the Leonard Rec Center.  Another way is Friendly Avenue West, Right on Chimney Rock Road, Right on Ballinger Road to Leonard Rec Center on left.
